You can also Survive Cancer

Hey, my name is Franca Azubuike. I am a fresh graduate, and a cancer survivor. In late 2016, I started to see strange symptoms sporadically throughout the following couple of months — deadness in my arm, chest pain and breathlessness – yet I didn’t contemplate it. While at my second year in school, the deadness and chest pain ended up difficult,

so I counselled at Emabal Hospitals where I was admitted to the emergency room.

After various tests, I was told I had lymphoma, tears spilled down my eyes, I never observed it coming, Cancer at my age? I was stun and grief stricken. I was later prepared for extra blood tests, bone marrow biopsies, among others, which decided my sickness was acute lymphoblastic leukemia. I was worried about my family, future, marriage and child bearing yet I was told my life was the pressing need of worry right now. I had chemotherapy a short time later.

I proceeded with treatment for the rest of the year, 2016 and underwent series of tests, techniques and inteeventions. I was later released from the emergency clinic after the consolidatory and upkeep periods of the treatment plan.

I encountered various reactions which were not palatable- extreme sickness, falling hair, weariness, and many others. Still through everything, I kept on pushing on as I got enormous help and care from family, companions, and the specialists at Emabal Hospitals as they helped me arrive at my solid self today.

“My parents, my kin and companions were significant supporters in my adventure. What’s more, my primary care physicians and their group that I worked with constantly made me feel like I was their need and was their lone patient, despite the fact that they have others..

I accept that my involvement with leukemia was for a reason – 9months in the wake of being analyzed and treated, I came back to class to proceed with my educational pursuit and to God be the glory, I am as yet standing hale and hearty.

Remaining in Emabal Hospitals was somewhat hard for my folks as they believed they should look for health care elsewhere particularly when they heard cancer, yet the commitment, expertise and empathy that the specialists at Emabal Hospitals showed was sufficient to persuade them that I was in the right place, and till today I never thought twice about it.
