Mr. Dapo Sowunmi is an experienced Management Consultant, with over three decades working
experience in the field. He possesses a BSc degree in Psychology, and an MSc in Industrial
Relations, & Personnel Management.
His working experience positions include the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, Lagos, as an
Administrative Officer, Senior Consultant, at Price Waterhouse, Lagos, Manager, Corporate
Resources Services, Alpha Merchant Bank, Lagos, and Managing Consultant, Phillips
Consulting, Lagos. He thereafter set up his own consulting firm, Elohim Management and
Business Associates Limited (EMABAL), the parent organization of EMABAL HOSPITALS.
He has been involved in all aspects of his specialist consulting area, which is Human Resources
Management. These include, Executive Selection, Job Evaluation, and Compensation
Management. Others include, Organization Structure Review, Competency Management, and
Performance Management System. He has facilitated several Management Retreats, Change
Management programs, and Training, and Development programs.
His clientele include private, and public sector organizations, as well as international
organizations. These include the Federal, State, and Local Government (MDA’s),
Manufacturing, and Gas organizations. They also include international organizations,
Food, beverage, Tobacco, Pharmaceuticals, and NGO’s.
Mr Sowunmi has made several presentations to various fora, including professional bodies,
organized private sector, and other interest groups. He has attended several training programs,
both in Nigeria, and abroad, in all aspects of modern management. He has a passion to the
development of the human potential in people.
He is one of the proprietors, and a director, of EMABAL HOSPITALS, and is responsible for the
management of the hospital. He believes that a good knowledge of people would assist in the
diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients.
